Protest Underway in Moscow
Political opposition opened a new
rally season in Moscow on Saturday with the third installment of its “March of
Millions,” which showed the core of the protests was not dwindling despite lack
of apparent success in the standoff with the Kremlin. The Interior Ministry
estimated the turnout at 14,000, while organizers spoke from the stage about
100,000 protest goers. No independent estimates were available.
