[EXCERPTS]
A lesbian couple sued and won a discrimination lawsuit against Christian farm owners Robert and Cynthia Gifford of New York after they refused to allow a same-sex wedding on their scenic property...
...What if, instead of closing their businesses, the Christians agreed to allow the same-sex union ceremonies on their property, but told the lesbian couple upfront that they would take their money and donate it to a conservative Christian law firm to fight against same-sex marriage? In other words, what if they took the sinners’ money and used it for good?
...It’s commendable that these Christians are taking a stand, but I believe that their methods are unwise and are causing them undue suffering.

MY RESPONSE:
Should we take Jesse's advice and avoid confrontation because we might suffer?
Heck why not? Most "christian" churches already compromise for the sake of filthy mammon. Haven't we been conditioned to just go along to get along? Why not put all the haters out of business who put God's moral law ahead of making a dime?
However, Jesus told us to expect suffering for the sake of the Gospel.
If you truly love someone you will tell them the truth even if it is uncomfortable for you.
The whole point of the sodomite "marriage" sham is to "normalize" their sinful behavior choices. Should we participate in that? The lawsuits are designed to strike fear into us so that we shut up, get out of the way, and let them transform society.
It doesn't matter how much you donate to charities or political causes that "fight" against normalization of homosexuality... by compromising you have given ground that can never be recovered...
If you do not stand against sin, you are - even by lack of action -complicit in it and stand guilty of it the same as the perpetrator.
Jesus walked with sinners, yet did not condone, aid, approve of, supply or otherwise participate in their sin.
Love means caring enough about someone to tell them the truth, compromising the truth to avoid confrontation is really selfish.

Perhaps it is "unwise" from a worldly standpoint. However, there is a way that seems right to man, but the end thereof is death...
