Obama Reportedly Told Staff He’s ‘Really Good at Killing People’

Obama Reportedly Told Staff He’s ‘Really Good at Killing People’
Obama told his staff that he’s “really good at killing people,” according to a new book set to hit shelves Tuesday. The book, titled “Double Down” and authored by Mark Halperin and John Heilemann, reportedly says the Nobel Peace Prize winning president made the comments while discussing drone strikes with his aides.

Book Alleges Obama Told Aides About Drone Strikes: I’m ‘Really Good At Killing People’
A new book covering the 2012 presidential campaign uncovers a series of scathing remarks from political figures, but one alleged comment has stirred controversy around President Barack Obama and his administration’s use of targeted drone strikes.

Drone strike in Pakistan kills head of Pakistan Taliban
A senior Taliban source has confirmed that a U.S. drone strike in Pakistan killed the head of the Pakistan Taliban Friday. Several intelligence, army and militant sources said Friday that Taliban leader Hakimullah Mehsud is dead, and a senior Taliban source confirmed his death to Reuters. The Taliban source also said Mehsud's funeral would be held Saturday.

Obama says al-Qaida now more active in Iraq
President Barack Obama pledged Friday to help combat an increasingly active al-Qaida in Iraq but stopped short of announcing new commitments of assistance sought by Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki. Al-Maliki came to the Oval Office requesting additional aid, including weapons and help with intelligence, to fight insurgent violence that has spiked in Iraq since American troops left in 2011.

If all this killing was "working", then how come they are "more active".  Perhaps the administration just needs a distraction from scandals and excuse to increase military involvement.  I thought this guy was given the Nobel "Peace" prize for what he was going to do?  Did they know that what he was going to do was kill thousands of innocent civilians as "collateral damage" from drone strikes?

Perhaps Obama should return the "Peace" prize?

While Obamcare stuns the U.S., ‘leading from behind’ unravels world peace
The U.S. is transfixed by the Obama administration’s massively bungled attempt to nationalize one sixth of the economy, the health welfare system. But the rest of the world watches the slow motion unfolding of another debacle: the loss of post-World War II American leadership of the worldwide alliance for peace and stability.

Too bad Kerry made a slip of the tongue and said that Iran could "make a deal" to get them out of the hot seat.  Conveniently, the "deal" may go sour and the recent news cycles have included several stories about how Iran hates our guts and vows to kill us off, so that public opinion will be primed again for a strike against Iran...

Analysis: US-Iran nuclear deal unlikely to meet Israel’s minimum demands
As is usual for Iranian diplomacy, Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei came out with contradictory remarks on Sunday. He called Israel “an illegitimate and bastard regime” and the US “an enemy who smiles,” yet he defended President Hassan Rouhani’s negotiations with the West from regime hard-liners opposing the talks, stating, “No one must weaken an official who is busy with work.”

Khamenei: Israel is 'illegitimate, bastard' regime
Supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said Sunday Israel is 'illegitimate, bastard' regime. He further expressed pessimism about talks with world powers over its disputed nuclear program but backed them. "No one should see our negotiating team as compromisers," Khamenei, Iran's top decision-maker on its nuclear drive, was quoted as saying on his official website.

New ‘Death to America’ songs unveiled in Iran
Hard-liners in Iran have unveiled two new “Death to America” songs at the former US Embassy in Tehran, hoping to keep anger high ahead of nuclear talks with Western powers. They performed the songs Saturday ahead of a planned massive protest Monday to mark the anniversary of the US Embassy takeover in 1979.

'Death to America', 'Down to Israel' chants as Iran celebrates US embassy siege anniversary
Thousands of Iranians chanted “Death to America” on Monday, the anniversary of of the 1979 seizure of the US Embassy. Many saw the calls as a jab at President Hassan Rouhani as he tries to ease tension with Washington...“Students are alert and hate America,” “Our blood in our veins, a gift for our leader” and “Down with Israel,” the crowd’s chants included, Iran’s Mehr News Agency reported.

Iran's Revolutionary Guards committed to 'Death to America'
The Revolutionary Guards, the elite Iranian regime's army, said Saturday they are committed to the slogan "Death to America," chanted at official ceremonies, just days before the 34th anniversary of the storming of the American Embassy in Tehran. "The slogan Death to America is the symbol of strength and determination of the Iranian nation against the dominance of the United States, which is an oppressive and untrustworthy nation," said the Revolutionary Guards on their official website.

Bolton: Israel must make 'fateful decision' on Iran strike
Israel does not have much time to make a “fateful decision” about whether to strike Iran’s nuclear sites, former U.N. Ambassador John Bolton said Sunday in a radio interview. “Israel, I think, now faces the fateful decision whether it will allow Iran to get nuclear weapons, thus constituting a true existential threat to Israel,” he said.
