One of the least credible tales to come out of President Obama’s recent ideological makeover is the story that he is modeling his presidency on Ronald Reagan’s. Time Magazine asserted this week that “there is no mistaking Obama's increasing reliance on [Mr. Reagan’s] career as a helpful template for his own.” Just to keep this preposterous public relations ploy in perspective, we have compiled a handy list to remind people how little these two men have in common:
Reagan: Fostered national pride in the military.
Obama: Fostered gay pride in the military.
Reagan: We begin bombing in five minutes.
Obama: We begin golfing in five minutes.
Reagan: Made big government a bad word.
Obama: Made big government a bad dream.

Media Bias on Abortionist Charged with Murder
CBS NEWS REPORTS ON ABORTION

The Washington Post on Thursday carried a front page story featuring predictable criticism of Catholic hospitals for prohibiting abortion—or “reproductive care,” as the Orwellian liberal paper called it. Inside the paper, on page 3, was a short story from Associated Press with a curious headline: “Murder charges for abortion provider.” The placement of these stories is a concrete example of pro-abortion media bias in action.
Of course, abortion IS murder to the hundreds of thousands who will be gathering in Washington, D.C. on Monday for the annual “March for Life.” GE’s ultrasound machine showing life in the womb has proven beyond doubt that the “product of conception” is indeed a human being. Still, many in the liberal media do not want to face up to the facts.
If history is any guide, the Post can be expected to bury a story about the March for Life rally in the Metro section of the paper.
Of more significance, however, is the use of the term “abortion provider” to refer to an abortionist charged with murder.
The Post—and most of the liberal media—have not yet seen fit to report in detail on the information in the 261-page grand jury report on what was happening at the “Women’s Medical Society” in Philadelphia. A subsequent on-line search of the Post finds four articles about the “abortion provider” charged with murder. All of these stories are from the AP.
A notable exception to this lack of serious coverage was the CBS Evening News with Katie Couric, who surprised conservatives by airing a Wednesday night story on the revelations. “This next story comes with a strong word of caution,” she said. “The details are gruesome. You won’t want young children to watch. A Philadelphia doctor who made millions performing late-term abortions was charged today with murder. The D.A. says the doctor killed seven babies after they were delivered alive.”
The report by correspondent Elaine Quijano on the “house of horrors,” which had been operating for 30 years, included these revelations:
• Children were born and then killed by putting scissors in the back of their neck and snipping their spinal cord.
• One woman, 41-year-old Carnamaya Mongar, died in 2009 after receiving an overdose of anesthesia.
• Photos from inside the clinic show unsanitary, squalid conditions with jars and bags of aborted fetuses.
• Fetal remains were found in a refrigerator that the employees used to store their lunches.
• The abortionist, Kermit B. Gosnell, has been named in 46 lawsuits, but his clinic had not been inspected by state officials since 1993.
• None of the employees had any medical training. A high school student was employed as an anesthesiologist.
• The doctor used unsterilized instruments, infecting patients with venereal disease and often punctured uteruses and intestines.
As shocking as these charges are, the Grand Jury report is even more graphic and includes photos of the gruesome practices that were underway. Here are some of the allegations:
• The “really big” and illegal abortions were scheduled on Sunday, and paperwork on them was taken out of the “clinic” to be hidden or destroyed in Gosnell’s home.
• “There was blood on the floor. A stench of urine filled the air. A flea-infested cat was wandering through the facility, and there were cat feces on the stairs.”
• “Semiconscious women scheduled for abortions were moaning in the waiting or the recovery room, where they sat on dirty recliners with blood-stained blankets.”
• Fetal remains were stored in orange juice cartons and cat-food containers.
• Rows of jars contained the severed feet of fetuses.
• A filing cabinet in Gosnell’s home, in his 12-year-old daughter’s closet, contained $240,000 in cash and a gun.
• Gosnell performed a “Mother’s Day Massacre” on patients bused to his clinic in 1972, using an experimental device called a “super coil” consisting of plastic razors to perform abortions.
• One witness testified that sometimes patients “miscarried or whatever it was” into the toilet and clogged it. The remains had to be fished out of the pipes.
We anxiously wait for the Post and other media to follow up on the Grand Jury report, which is extremely critical of the failure of State authorities—Democrats and Republicans—to investigate this “clinic.” The report said, “Even nail salons in Pennsylvania are monitored more closely for client safety.”
These “pro-choice” political authorities didn’t want to interfere with a “woman’s right to choose.”
It is a sign of long overdue progress that a Grand Jury put all of this material into a report, and that the District Attorney, R. Seth Williams, has filed charges as a result. But it turns out that the abortion-related horrors were discovered almost accidentally after Gosnell’s facility had been raided by federal and local authorities who believed he was writing illegal painkiller prescriptions.
Philadelphia Daily News reporter David Gambacorta had interviewed the abortionist on March 8, 2010, about some of the controversies swirling around him then. He said he did no wrong.
But where were the media while all of this was going on? And where’s the follow-up coverage of whether similar facilities are operating in other cities?

Today's 'Christianity' - Nothing more than feelings

This may come as a shock to most Christians, but if you do a search of the less contemporary translations of scripture, the word “feelings” is virtually nonexistent. Where it does appear, it is cited as more of a superficial, even negative attribute than a positive; and yet, as we watch and listen to many from today’s churches, be they leaders or laymen, not only do we see a clear fixation on feelings, both physical and emotional, we notice that those feelings have by and large become a replacement for faith.
In fact, if you substitute the word “feelings” wherever you see the word “faith” in those older Bible versions, it will become clear to you what motivates and guides the average “Christian” today – point being: most of us are not following the Living Word of God by faith, we’re simply following our feelings and calling it “faith.”
This doesn’t require a Bible.
When one considers the sobering words of the prophet Jeremiah, who said: “The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked…” it should cause us to take a discerning look at what moves us. If our worship and service to Jesus Christ is measured by mood, then may I suggest our “Christianity” is more theatrical than theological?

IN HIS SQUALID West Philadelphia abortion clinic, Kermit Gosnell had a surefire way of dealing with the unwelcome complication of a live birth: He'd allegedly plunge scissors into the squirming newborn's neck, killing it by severing the spinal cord.
Sometimes, the elderly physician didn't do this right away. Often, he allegedly gave the chore to his unlicensed office staff. One premature infant wiggled around on a counter for 20 minutes before an untrained worker slit his neck - after first playing with him.

American Idol condoning the sexualization of youth
Entering its tenth season, a TV show known for being family-friendly has added a very family-unfriendly personality to its lineup.
American Idol has had a shakeup in its panel of judges as several of the judges who have been with the show for past seasons have quit the program leaving the producers with the problem of finding their replacements.
One of the new judges, Steven Tyler of the band Aerosmith, has a past which makes one wonder how he could have been selected for a prominent place in TV show with a reputation for being acceptable for all ages.
As even MTV’s entertainment news page notes, “This is not going to be your grandma’s “American Idol.”
The MTV article describes the changes that Steven Tyler may bring to the show:
“‘Idol’ has always been a kind of wholesome family affair that the entire clan can sit down and watch together without worrying about foul language, nudity or any other PG-13 antics. That’s before new judge Steven Tyler came onboard, so don’t be surprised if your sixth-grader starts asking, ‘Mommy, what’s a Lunesta?’ or ‘Daddy, what’s a three-way?’”
Of course, judging by MTV’s new teen porn show, “Skins”, MTV probably thinks it’s great that kids are asking these questions.
On January 18th, Tyler was a surprise guest on the Howard Stern Show which is now on Sirius Satellite Radio.
During Stern’s interview with Tyler (Tyler’s girlfriend was also in the interview), Tyler discussed a myriad of subjects including his lewd sex life and his drug use (before rehab), all of which was peppered with expletives that you hope not to hear coming from a TV personality who is watched by millions of families every Wednesday night.
MTV also describes Tyler’s conversation with Howard Stern:
” Tyler left no stone unturned, speaking about everything from the inspiration for the song “Big 10 Inch Record” (hint: it’s not about vinyl) to masturbation, his active (and colorful) sex life with his current girlfriend, his love of guns, multiple trips to rehab for drugs and Penthouse Forum-worthy backstage activities with his sweetie and an eager groupie during a recent Aerosmith tour.”
Steven Tyler has also admitted to having some heavy drug problems, including falling of stage at a 2009 concert which he has said was due to having snorted the drug Lunesta before going on stage. Tyler has gone through a drug rehab program.
Since its debut in 2002, the ratings for the FOX television show “American Idol” have dominated its market, largely because it has been seen as suitable for the entire family to follow.
However, the image will soon be lost if the first episode with Steven Tyler on board is any indication.
An MSNBC article opined that this new “American Idol” will “keep the Fox lawyers up at night worrying that Steve Tyler will do something that gets the network sued or the FCC to chime in.”
Indeed, that seems quite a valid concern. Another article by PopNews Wire and posted on FOX’s own FOXNews website quoted Tyler using the f-word in response to one young contestant (which, while bleeped on television, leaves viewers to mentally fill in the blank.)
PopNews also gave this review of Tyler: “…Which brings us to another point about Tyler — he’s a dog … as in a pig. Tyler loves the ladies, and the ladies — most young enough to be his granddaughters — love him right back. At 62, he had no problem pointing out that a super-wholesome 16-year-old was showing “just the right amount” of leg.”
So here is 62 year old Tyler leering at young, underage teenagers and making sexually suggestive comments!
But Steven Tyler doesn’t stop there with the sexually-harassing comments. The PopNews article goes on, stating: “One major criticism: More so than the judges of yore, this panel seems a little too willing to send the freaks to Hollyweird — most notably Tiffany Morris, a well-endowed dance teacher who literally let it all hang out while singing about how America needs her for “higher ratings on TV.” But Tyler made up for it by addressing the dangling stars on her skimpy bikini top, asking, “What’s with the jujubes on your hoo hoo bes?”
In the first year that “American Idol” has allowed contestants as young as 15, they also give us a judge who, rather than being a mentor for these young hopefuls, seems to be focused more on their sex appeal.
“American Idol” now is joining the bandwagon of Hollywood by condoning the sexualization of teen girls, portraying them as sexual objects to be ogled by old men. In recent years the entertainment industry has insistently pushed the view of young teenage girls as sexual objects, sending a message to girls that their worth is dependent upon their sexual appeal while boys and men are taught to view them as objects of lust. Tyler’s comments to female contestants on American Idol and the “wink-wink” attitude of media and lack of public outrage attest that this destructive view is already well-established.
However, we must not sit idly by while “American Idol,” a show that draws in millions of family viewers, condones, by their silence and acceptance, such salacious comments from Steven Tyler toward young girls. Huge Numbers Of Dead Animals, Dead Birds And Dead Fish – What In The World Is Happening Out There?

Just what in the world is going on out there? Large groups of animals are keeling over dead, thousands of birds are falling out of the sky dead and millions of dead fish are washing ashore all over the globe. Something is happening. Do any of you know what is causing all this, because I sure don't. This all seemed to start around the end of December when mass bird deaths and mass fish deaths began to be reported all around the world. Normally "weird" news stories like this kind of fade away after a time, but reports of bird deaths and fish deaths continue to come in and now there are even reports of large groups of land animals suddenly dropping dead. As these reports from all over the globe continue to pile up, it doesn't take a "conspiracy theorist" to figure out that something very much out of the ordinary is going on. Unfortunately, at this point we have a whole lot more questions than we do answers...

On December 29th, the Miami Herald ran a startling headline:
MTV’s Every Detail Etched on Children’s Minds
The article’s author, Ellen Livingston, spoke with myriad teachers and students about the network’s massive influence, almost all negative. John Anderson, a teacher at a private Lutheran School, said he’s worried kids are obsessed with it. He cited the fact that creative assignments often include MTV references.
Livingston asked the question: Knowing that the programming gets “its force from sex, drugs and rock ‘n roll” do parents mind their children spending the best years of their youth in front of MTV? “The kids say no,” she writes – and Susan Long, 14, says her mom watches it, too.
But Susan Long is no longer 14. She’s 42.
Everything I just told you came from an article in the December 29, 1983 edition of the Miami Herald.
Twenty-eight years later, MTV is still pushing the envelope, farther and more disturbingly than ever before. Their newest hit, “Skins,” is drawing fire from nearly every corner, not just conservative-minded people. At issue is the fact that scenes of the program seem pretty clearly to violate federal child pornography statues.
MTV executives are scrambling, trying desperately to get a handle on a controversy that is growing. The premiere episode garnered 3.3 million viewers. Nielsen reported that 1.2 million people under 18 watched this past week.
When I hear those numbers, I can’t help but think:

The travesty is not only that Hollywood continues to produce such garbage, nor is it that the market will obviously support it. There is nothing new about either sad fact.
The tragedy is that scores of young children are having their minds warped and corrupted by images and themes they’ll remember for the rest of their lives. Images and themes that scintillate and nefariously seduce. Images and themes they’re entirely unqualified and unprepared to handle or process.
It is nothing short of technological child abuse.

'We paid the price for free love': The flip side of the sexual revolution
Whenever I reveal I was young in the 1960s, people’s eyes grow round with envy. ‘Lucky you!’ they say. Then they add, saucily: ‘But of course they say that if you can remember the 60s you weren’t there!’ Well, I was there and I can, unfortunately, remember the 60s all too well. And although I’ve no doubt it was a fantastic – or ‘fab’ as we used to say – time for men, for women (or young girls as we were then) it was absolutely grisly.
...the result was that lots of us girls spent the entire 60s in tears, because however one tried to separate sex from love, we’d been brought up to associate the two; so every time we went to bed with someone, we’d hope it would lead to something more permanent…and each time it never did.

Glenn Beck's New Book Reveals He Embraces New Age Theology, Is a Knowledgeable Mormon, and a Universalist

In August of 2010, I predicted on my national radio program that it was only a matter of time before Glenn Beck would release a distinctively religious book that would promote his New Age Mormonism and universalism. I sensed that Glenn was setting himself up to be the politically conservative alternative to Oprah.
Many self-professing Christians cannot see what Beck is up to but there are those in the unsaved world that seem to be exhibiting more worldview understanding than some in the Christian community. The Business Insider published an article on January 4, 2011 entitled, Glenn Beck's New Year's Plan Sounds A Lot Like Oprah's New Network.
Last week (second week of January 2011) Beck released his latest book entitled The Seven Wonders That Will Change Your Life. The book is co-authored by psychiatrist Dr. Keith Ablow.
Beck's new book is nothing less than the promotion of universalism, postmodernism, and pagan spirituality, also known as the New Age Movement.
I tried to warn America's pastors and Christian leaders in early August of 2010, not to unite with Glenn Beck in his spiritual rally that sought to unite all faiths and look to one God. I gave these Christian leaders plenty of evidence that Glenn Beck was a practicing Mormon that was also embracing New Age paganism.
Some of these Christian leaders said that Beck was a "new Christian", "a baby Christian", "new brother", a "little lamb", or "very close to becoming a Christian." If they think Glenn Beck meets the Biblical descriptions of a Christian then they have no clue what the book of I John says are the Biblical hallmarks of a true follower of Jesus Christ.
A friend of mine even e-mailed a mega pastor that was publically supporting Glenn Beck's 8-28 rally to ask him to be careful about embracing Beck and his black robe regiment because of some of the false theology Glenn was espousing. The pastor replied:
Would this pastor say Oprah Winfrey is a Christian?
According to Christian Post, another Mega Church pastor said:
I have interviewed persons who have talked specifically with Glenn about his personal salvation – persons extremely well known in Christianity – and they have affirmed (using language evangelicals understand), 'Glenn is saved'…He understands receiving Christ as savior.
How confusing to the unsaved world and to baby Christians it must be to have Christian leaders make this claim about being a Christian in light of Beck's latest book. Many now believe what Beck is promoting in his book is Christianity because Pastors and Christian leaders have announced that "Glenn is saved." I have had teenagers e-mail me and come up to me at our conferences and express how confused they are by what Christian leaders have said about Beck being saved when they have heard Beck promote New Age heresy.
In light of Beck's religious and spiritual proclamations in his new book, this would be the week for the Christian leaders and pastors that embraced Beck on the national stage, and proclaimed Beck's salvation, to release a press release and post a statement on their website that they disagree with Beck's pagan spirituality and that indeed Beck is not demonstrating theology and doctrine consist with what the Bible says are the hallmarks of a Christian. These Christian leaders need to apologize for leading people to believe that Beck was a Christian or to believe that Beck held and promoted religious views that were compatible with Biblical Christianity. Dr. Erwin Lutzer, of the historic Moody Church in Chicago, correctly declared in August of 2010 on my radio program that any pastor or Christian leader involved in Beck's rally would be involved in heresy. I agree 100% with that statement.
In his new book Beck and Dr. Ablow promote psychologist Sigmund Freud, Carl Jung, New Age authors Robert Pirsig and James Redfied, Buddha, Buddhist teacher Sogyal Rinpoche, Gandhi, The Bible and the Gnostic Gospel of Thomas. Sadly, Glenn is confused and all Christians should pray that he will come to salvation in the Jesus of the Bible through faith and repentance.
On page 56 Beck says he read A Course in Miracles by Helen Schucman which is the Bible of the New Age Movement. I wrote and entire chapter in my book Grave Influence on Helen Schucman and the demon she channeled that helped her write the book.
I have several friends who were Mormons for many years before accepting the Jesus Christ of the Bible as their Lord and Savior through faith and repentance. Tracy was a Mormon for 26 years and e-mailed me to explain why many Mormons are open to New Age Spirituality:
On page 79 Beck and Dr. Ablow promote transcendental meditation and Eastern Mysticism. On 85 we read, "As you commit to unlocking and bringing forth the truth inside you, don't be afraid to pray for help. Don't be reticent to sit with yourself in silence and meditate. Connect with the miracle of spirit, of God, that has lived inside you from long before you were born."
Christian mediation is not about "bringing forth the truth inside of you" nor is it about contacting God that has "lived inside you from long before you were born." This is not Biblical and any Christian that thinks otherwise is either a false convert or is Biblically illiterate. On page 132 Beck and Ablow proclaim, "Pray to whatever higher power you believe in…Praying that God or Nature or the Cosmos or your own internal, immeasurable reservoir of spirit allows you the courage and faith to find and then face the truth…"
In several places readers are told it really does not matter what religion or religious leader they follow. On page 157 Beck writes, "Finding what worked for me made all the difference. Finding what works for you will do the same."
On page 74 the reader is instructed "Just be sure you visit with a minister or therapist from a religion or healing discipline you actually have affinity for, or suspect you might."
On page 236, reincarnation is promoted through the writings of Robert Pirsig's book, Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance, "…the 'spirit' of Chris or the 'ghost' of Chris, then you can say without further translation that the spirit or ghost of Chris is looking for a new body to enter."
Beck is a very committed and knowledgeable Mormon:
I have had several Christians tell me that Beck does not really know much about the Mormon faith. That is not what Beck writes in his new book.
"I questioned everything I could think to question about the faith. I went over my doubts again and again with the church bishop. I read everything there was to read on their website and every word of Mormon Doctrine…I went to anti-Mormon literature for hints, but I found most of it to be unfair or just plain wrong. I tried every trick I could think of to find a contradiction. The problem was that I couldn't. Mormonism seemed to explain the world and my place in it better than any other faith I had looked at." (Page 149-150)
Beck does not believe in Hell, original sin or that Jesus in the only way:
"Latter-day Saints do not believe that your chances ever cease, even with death. They end only with the full understanding and denial of truth by your own exercise of real free will. And even then there is no 'lake of fire.' (Page 149)
"As Keith likes to say, 'There's no original sin left in the world. Everyone's just recycling pain now.' "(Page 154.)
"There is no infant delivered evil, out of the womb. There never has been. Not even one…Charles Manson was not born evil. Ted Bundy wasn't. The BTK killer wasn't. Hitler wasn't." (Page 162)
The Bible says that all have sinned and fallen short of the Glory of God. (Romans 3:23) The Bible says that even babies are born with a sin nature and that we are all conceived in sin. Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me. (Psalm 51:5)
"People are inherently good." (Page 165).
The Bible says in Jeremiah 17:9, The heart [is] deceitful above all [things], and desperately wicked: who can know it?
Beck's book uses the phrase "Your truth" or "your true path" or "my truth" at least 23 times. Here are a few examples:
"It is never too late to embrace your truth." (Page 124)
"What is your truth whispering?" (Page 130)
"Use compassion to stay on the path to your own truth… (Page 161)
"...determination to unearth and embrace my truth." (Page 215)
"The fact that I am always attempting to honor my truth… (Page 216)
"There is only your truth." (Page 220)
"You must use courage and faith to empty the hard drive of your soul and then fill it with your truth." (Page 288)
Beck's book promotes the New Age that God dwells within all:
"The third chapter of Exodus helped me start to understand how crucial it was that my focus be on finding God not just in the seas or the cosmos, but in myself." (Page 57)
If God is everything and everywhere and inside everyone, then I figured He had to be inside me, too… (Page 58)
This is the promotion of pantheism and panentheism.
"Divine power is still inside you." (Page 71)
"Reach out to people to steady them and enrich them and reflect back to them the light that comes from God inside them. (Page 283)
"You won't doubt your ability to achieve what you want to achieve in this life because you won't doubt that God is not only by your side, but inside you." (Page 254)
Beck's book promotes the New Age idea that you need to tap into a positive energy for a successful and happy life: (Ten times). Some examples include:
I wrote this article because I want discerning Christians to have the information they need to refute unbiblical teaching. I want Christians to be watchmen who warn their Christian family and friends about the spiritual deception of people like Glenn Beck, Oprah Winfrey, and a host of other individuals that are promoting another Jesus and another gospel.
Christians also need to be ready to explain to their unsaved family and friends why Glenn Beck's worldview will not lead them to God as their savior but as their judge. Nowhere in Beck's new book does he mention the Biblical gospel. What Glenn is promoting is the same lie promoted by Satan in Genesis 3:1-5. I am fearful that the spiritual poison Beck is promoting is not seven wonders that will change your life but in fact, lies that will condemn the souls of millions for eternity.

It's not surprising how easy it is for many LDS to get involved in occult practices based on the "power of the priesthood." For example, energy healing (chakras), cloud-busting, and other mind-power things. My LDS friends and I were always interested in books like The Magic of Believing, Embraced by the Light, and other New Agey kinds of books. I remember seeing Star Wars when I was Mormon and how many of us in the ward (LDS congregation) were comparing The Force to the priesthood power.
Since we believed we were on the godhood track, using the phrase "I AM" in the context Glenn uses it, fits in neatly with the power of the priesthood through which worlds are created (according to Mormon doctrine). In fact, Mormonism teaches that God did NOT create the universe exnihlo, because God can only manipulate and arrange existing matter; he cannot create it. Thus we see, from the LDS perspective, we too can become I AM, through the divine nature within us.

- The current energy that flows in your favor when you stop denying what you have lived through and how it has shaped you and how you must change is the immeasurable force that you can tap into to dramatically improve your existence." (Page 113)
- …you will elicit the same positive energy from others. When you stop pretending to be just fine and start admitting that you have struggled, just as we all have, then spiritual energy will fill you." (Page 117)
I wrote this article because I want discerning Christians to have the information they need to refute unbiblical teaching. I want Christians to be watchmen who warn their Christian family and friends about the spiritual deception of people like Glenn Beck, Oprah Winfrey, and a host of other individuals that are promoting another Jesus and another gospel.
Christians also need to be ready to explain to their unsaved family and friends why Glenn Beck's worldview will not lead them to God as their savior but as their judge. Nowhere in Beck's new book does he mention the Biblical gospel. What Glenn is promoting is the same lie promoted by Satan in Genesis 3:1-5. I am fearful that the spiritual poison Beck is promoting is not seven wonders that will change your life but in fact, lies that will condemn the souls of millions for eternity.

At the direction of the Southern Poverty Law Center, the Obama Administration and Department of Homeland Security (DHS) had established a profile for what they call “potential domestic terrorists” of grave concern in the DHS Intel Report titled “Rightwing Extremism.”
The Obama Administration has allowed the Southern Poverty Law Center to define “hate” – hate speech and hate-based domestic terrorism. But the Southern Poverty Law Center is nothing more than a George Soros funded hate group of a different sort, using its power with the current administration to launch a full scale assault on all who do not share the left-wing political view and labeling all conservatives “haters.”
However, Jared Lee Loughner, the alleged gunman responsible for shooting Democrat Congresswoman Gabby Giffords did not meet Obama’s SPLC depiction of a domestic terrorist. He was not a soldier, as first reported by the left-wing press, but rather an Army reject. He is not a political conservative, but rather a political liberal.
If Loughner opposes illegal immigration, then he shot the wrong congresswomen. Giffords opposed Obama on his administrations lack of border security and their efforts to force amnesty for illegals upon the citizens of Arizona. Giffords is a blue-dog Democrat, in full favor of Second Amendment gun rights and enforcement of our immigration laws and border security.
Pima County Sheriff Dupnik wasted no time trying to saddle the Tea Party with responsibility for Loughner’s actions - "The anger, the hatred, the bigotry that goes on in this country is getting to be outrageous. And unfortunately Arizona I think is the capital. We are the Mecca for prejudice for prejudice and bigotry," Dupnik said. – turning the horrific events of the day into little more than a political strategy for the political left.
"We need to do some soul searching," Dupnik, a Democrat, told reporters. "It's the vitriolic rhetoric that we hear day in and day out from people in the radio business and some people in the TV business.”
CNN is blaming political rhetoric and calling for an end to free political speech, but only from the political right, citing – “the possibility that highly polarized rhetoric in the conservative hotbed of Arizona may have played a role in the assassination attempt of the Democratic congresswoman, who was targeted during a meet-and-greet with constituents in a shopping center.”
However, Giffords is a “conservative” Democrat, supporting gun rights and strong enforcement of immigration laws and border security.
Loughner has had a troubled past, according to investigators. Not because he was known to attend Tea Party rallies or read Sarah Palin’s book under the watchful eye of DHS and the Southern Poverty Law Center, but because he was known to smoke pot and post diatribes on the Internet about fiat currencies and government mind control.
In short, Loughner has a screw loose, and his Internet activities demonstrate an increasing level of mental disorder in the weeks and months leading up to his actions in Tucson on January 8th. But he in no way fits the Obama administrations current profile for rightwing Tea Party terrorist. Quite the contrary actually…

When the streets of Berkeley burn in protest to higher college tuition fees, they are not burned by rightwing extremist students, but rather entitlement oriented leftwing students. When the streets of Chicago burn even when the Bulls win, they do not burn at the hands of rightwing extremists, but rather at the hands of leftwing inner-city thugs.
It isn’t Rush Limbaugh who called for violent armed revolution in America, but rather leftwing hero and Pulitzer finalist Ted Rall.
Maybe Obama’s DHS should reconsider its definition of “domestic terrorist?” I am ultra conservative, which means I oppose extremism at both ends of the political spectrum and I am for peaceful political solutions. Loughner and I share nothing in common.
While at it, the left should redefine their concept of “hate.” Opposing lawlessness is not an act of “hate.” Supporting the rule of law and upholding the Constitution is an act of patriotism, not an act of “hate.”
Loughner appears to be a run-of-the-mill nut that has no respect for life, liberty or anything else.
He is the opposite of the average constitutional conservative found in the Tea Party movement and the people cannot allow the leftist media to paint this guy some kind of Palin fan or ditto head.
Call it the way it is – Loughner is a lunatic. His belief system is anything but conservative. Make sure that Janet Napolitano and her Southern Poverty Law Center understand this!
Loughner is not a “rightwing extremists.” The press needs to properly report this situation and be held accountable when they don’t. An alarming white paper concludes that the Apple iPhone contains a backdoor spyware module that allows hackers or the government to conduct secret surveillance of the user, part of an established trend of corporations and the state working hand in hand to eavesdrop on citizens via widely-used software and hardware products.
Earlier this week, a technology group in Russia released the results of their attempts to reverse engineer the iPhone, concluding that the product has "A built-in function which sends all data from an iPhone to a specified web-server. Contacts from a phonebook, SMS, recent calls, history of Safari browser - all your personal information can be stolen."
The module could act as a backdoor for trojan developers or AT & T, said the report, adding that "government structures" would have access to the information.

Two way communications systems like OnStar also have the ability to tap into private conversations as Americans become increasingly conditioned, by means of the private sector, to having their every movement, web session and conversation tracked and catalogued by big brother.
Last year we reported on how Google were planning to use microphones in the computers of an estimated 150 million-plus Internet active Americans to spy on their lifestyle choices and build psychological profiles which will be used for surveillance and minority report style invasive advertising and data mining.
"The idea is to use the existing PC microphone to listen to whatever is heard in the background, be it music, your phone going off or the TV turned down. The PC then identifies it, using fingerprinting, and then shows you relevant content, whether that's adverts or search results, or a chat room on the subject," reported the Register .
The report cites the inevitability that the use and abuse of this technology will eventually be taken over by the state.
"Pretty soon the security industry is going to find a way to hijack the Google feed and use it for full on espionage."
The Echelon program has collected information in violation of the 4th Amendment from American citizen's phone calls since the early 90's at least. In addition, a 2001 European Parliament report stated that "within Europe all e-mail, telephone and fax communications are routinely intercepted" by the NSA.
The fact that Echelon barely even merited a mention during the recent furore created by the original USA Today NSA spying piece goes to show how utterly useless our media are in recalling what has already been admitted and proven.
In 1999 the Australian government admitted that they were part of an NSA led global intercept and surveillance grid in alliance with the US and Britain that could listen to "every international telephone call, fax, e-mail, or radio transmission."
The use of the iPhone as another means of carte-blanch invasive surveillance underscores the fact that corporations and government are joined at the hip when it comes to their disregard of the right to privacy as enshrined in the 4th Amendment to the Constitution.

An alarming white paper concludes that the Apple iPhone contains a backdoor spyware module that allows hackers or the government to conduct secret surveillance of the user, part of an established trend of corporations and the state working hand in hand to eavesdrop on citizens via widely-used software and hardware products.
Earlier this week, a technology group in Russia released the results of their attempts to reverse engineer the iPhone, concluding that the product has "A built-in function which sends all data from an iPhone to a specified web-server. Contacts from a phonebook, SMS, recent calls, history of Safari browser - all your personal information can be stolen."
The module could act as a backdoor for trojan developers or AT & T, said the report, adding that "government structures" would have access to the information.
