Upon his arrival at the Regina International Airport last Thursday, LaBarbera was detained by customs officials, all of his possessions were searched, and he was placed in custody for three hours before he was finally released. The hearing officer stated there were no grounds for deportation and that LaBarbera hadn't violated the nation's hate speech laws. Brian Rushfeldt, executive director of Canada Family Action, tells OneNewsNow he was "quite appalled" by how Canadian authorities handled the incident.
